COTTON SUPLIERS

COTTON AND LINEN SUPPLIERS

COTTON & LINEN

COTTON

Cotton, a natural fiber from the Gossypium plant, remains one of the most widely used materials in textiles today. It’s lightweight, breathable, biodegradable — and incredibly versatile. From bedding to bath towels, cotton delivers comfort with ease, while keeping environmental impact low.

Our cotton selections are designed for everyday use and simple care, striking a balance between functionality and sustainability.

LINEN

Linen comes from the stalk of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum) and is one of the oldest fibers in human history. Known for its strength and breathability, linen is naturally elegant and long-lasting.

We appreciate linen for its soft, airy feel and the traditional processes behind its production — from hand-harvesting to careful fiber preparation. Whether crafted manually or using low-impact equipment, every step honors the material and our commitment to sustainable, natural textiles.

TEIAS DE LONA

Although Teias de Lona officially launched in 2014, its roots run deep. The company specializes in premium woven fabrics for fashion and home, continuing the legacy of the historic Gomes Pinto mill — even acquiring its original shuttle looms.

“We brought back the machines — and the people,” said Isabel Ribeiro, managing partner, in an interview with Jornal Têxtil. “The loom tuner, the weaving manager, the woman who handled textures... all with incredible knowledge of these looms.”

From this mission came a rare gem: the only producer of 100% cotton canvas woven on heritage looms in the Iberian Peninsula. Teias de Lona works with strong-twist virgin cotton yarns — untreated and pure — using classic Picanõl Presidente looms to create soft yet durable fabrics. Known for flexibility and quality, the company can also produce limited batches on request.

SEASON HOME COLLECTION

Founded in 2019, Season is a Portuguese brand that creates home textiles with a focus on comfort and sustainability. From bedding and bath to kitchen linens and loungewear, Season blends thoughtful design with responsible production.

Every detail reflects a commitment to the planet — from eco-certified fabrics to 100% reusable packaging. Their operations are powered by renewable energy and built on circular economy principles, using recyclable, biodegradable materials wherever possible.

The brand also encourages customers to return used items, which are then recycled into new products — helping close the loop and minimize waste.

Behind the production is António Salgado, a renowned manufacturer established in 1957. With deep expertise and sustainable values, the company produces both raw fabrics and finished goods under the Season name.

LASA HOME

Based in Guimarães — the heart of Portugal’s textile region — Lasa Home has been creating high-quality home textiles for over 50 years. Part of the Lasa Group, founded by Armando da Silva Antunes in 1971, the brand offers everything from towels and bedding to rugs, baby items, and decorative cushions.

With decades of experience, Lasa Home brings warmth and comfort into every space. Sustainability is woven into their identity — from certified raw materials to environmentally conscious methods. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand, ensuring every piece reflects care for both home and planet.
